Accessibility Statement
Effective October 11, 2026 · Last updated October 11, 2026
Our goal
We want Mark the Damage and Auto Recon to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this website and in the app.
What we’ve done
- Large buttons and touch targets, high-contrast text, and no color-only meaning for important information.
- Labeled buttons and form fields, a “skip to content” link, and visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
- Pages that work with zoom up to 200% and with reduced-motion settings.
- Status messages announced to screen readers.
Known limitations
- Marking photos needs touch or a mouse. Drawing circles, arrows and X marks on a photo can’t be done with a keyboard or screen reader alone. Every other step (taking or choosing photos, notes, customer or vehicle details, the VIN decoder, sharing and copying) works with assistive technology.
- Pictures you send are images. Notes and job details are drawn into the picture, so a screen reader on the receiving phone can’t read them. If your customer uses a screen reader, also send your notes as text.
We haven’t had a formal outside audit. We test with keyboard navigation, phone screen readers and browser checks, and we fix problems as we find them.
Tell us about a problem
Email [email protected] with the subject “Accessibility.” Tell us what page or screen you were on, what you were trying to do, and the phone and browser you used. We’ll reply within 5 business days and work with you on a fix or another way to get the job done.
