Privacy Policy

The short version: your photos, marks, notes and customer details stay on your phone. The app never sends them to us. We do get some information when you buy, unlock, visit the site, or email us. This page explains what and why.
What we get, and why

What’s saved on your phone
Each app saves a few things in your browser’s storage so it works offline: your unlock (license), your business name, your favorite mark tool and color, crew unlock links if you bought for a crew, and a saved copy of the app itself. None of it is sent to us. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page.
To delete it: open the app’s menu and tap Delete this phone’s data, or clear your browser’s website data. This can’t be undone. You can unlock again with your link or email.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.
- We don’t use analytics, ad pixels, session recording or similar trackers.
- We don’t add you to a mailing list. We email you only about your purchase, support or refunds.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the apps: Stripe (payments; see Stripe’s Privacy Policy) and Cloudflare (website hosting; see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy), and, only when you use the Auto Recon VIN decoder, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (the VIN you look up). We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect against fraud, or if the business is sold.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept in Stripe as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons (usually up to 7 years). Support emails are kept up to 3 years. Website logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own policies.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and payment details are handled by Stripe. No method is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can reach it.
Your choices and requests
Email [email protected] to ask what purchase information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete what we don’t need to keep by law. We’ll confirm your request using the email you paid with, and reply within 30 days.
Do Not Track
We don’t track you across other websites, and we don’t let others do so through our site. Because we don’t track, browser “Do Not Track” signals don’t change anything here.
Children
The apps are for working adults and are not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Where we operate
The apps are sold in the United States, and your information is handled in the United States.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and post the new version here. If we change how photos are handled, we’ll say so clearly before it takes effect.
